As a part of community services, Health and fitness awareness camp for geriatric population is conducted once in a month in various gardens in the PCMC area. We engage the geriatric population in an innovative exercise program targeting problems of old age like muscular weakness, imbalance, vertigo, dementia, in-coordination etc. Students get to learn the problems of old age as well as their management. Every Thursday morning, we run a free geriatric OPD where old age people gather and perform various physical activities and fun activities under the supervision of trained physiotherapists. These get togethers help them share their problems with us as well as with each others. We try our level best to help them cope up and improve their quality of life.
